My name is Althea Tan and I author Living Together Blog. I wanted to post a solo photo as my profile picture but I like the current photo as it is: with my dear husband during our first Singapore trip. We have a son named Daniel. He’s two years old and can count in seven languages.

I live in San Francisco Bay Area but I grew up in Iloilo City, Philippines, where I lived all my life until I moved to Manila for college in 1997. After I got married and had a baby, I returned to Iloilo in early 2008, stayed there for a year, and moved to the Bay Area with my husband and son. I always have the intention to return to my hometown someday but for now, a yearly visit would do.

I like photography, good movies, good novels, and good food (if you’re a good cook, we’ll be friends for sure).

I started Living Together Blog in early 2007 shortly before my husband and I got married. We lived together for three months before marriage and wanted to chronicle our life as a couple. We intended to co-author this blog but we ended up busy and not blogging for months. Surprisingly, after almost three years, a baby, a business venture and a transition to another country, this blog is still alive so I decided to take over this blog so I have space to write.

This blog has no theme but expect me to blog about our life in general.
