When Giving Gifts

This tip is useful when you have a large family. Of course it’s fun to buy gifts for loved ones but sometimes it can be very expensive.

Last Christmas, we gave gifts to our relatives but we prioritized the children. Unless you have exchange gifts within the family, you’re not really compelled to give everyone a gift. Instead of buying them individual gifts, you can offer to cook them your specialty or bake their favorite cookies. You will surely enjoy the compliment afterwards.

If you’ve been taking photos of your family and relatives in the past year, you may consider burning the photos on a CD. Use your creativity in creating slide shows of every memorable moment. You can then give each one a copy. It’s wonderful if you include photos from your family’s reunions, birthdays, parties, weddings, baptisms, etc. They can choose to print them out or keep them as a digital album.

If you’ve taken video clips of those events, might as well include them.
