Early Christmas Shopping

I’ve been thinking of buying gifts for Christmas next week– it will be an early shopping for us. I don’t want to rush to the mall when I’m already too heavy and unable to walk for a few yards more. I have less than two months for Daniel’s arrival so it’s wise to finish shopping before I reach my last month.

I initially want to buy gifts from Ebay.ph but after browsing through the unlimited variety of things that are offered on the site, I realized that it’s still better to get everything from one place at one time. But of course since I’m pregnant, I want to complete my shopping within the shortest possible time. I don’t want to end up debating with what to buy once I’m already at the small so coming up with a gift list is an advisable thing to do. It will help me track every gift and make sure no one is forgotten.

Daddy and Daniel

329580baby-s-hand-grasping-father-s-finger-posters.jpgI’m so glad that I’m not going through this pregnancy all by myself. I owe everything to my husband, Amarind, who always goes an extra mile to makes sure I am getting the best care that I deserve. Now that I’m on my seventh month of pregnancy, my mobility is getting limited. Since we don’t have a maid, we share household chores but lately, he does most of them. I still cook and do the dishes though but I’m afraid I’m getting more inactive and dependable on my husband because baby is growing heavier each day.

After months of thinking what our baby’s name would be, we finally came up with what we both like. We will call our baby boy, Daniel. This may appear peculiar but we actually both decided on the name after watching the movie, Saving Private Ryan. One of the brothers’ name there is Daniel Ryan and we thought, there’s a ring to it. Daniel also means “God is my Judge,” which is very approapriate since we always wanted a Christian name for our baby. Now, we call him Daniel instead of just “baby.” Daniel also responds to us by tossing and turning in my belly whenever we say, “Hi, Daniel” or when we simply call him “Daniel.”

Can’t Decide What To Buy? Sleep On It!

Whenever I think of buying something online and even at the local stores, I usually end up debating with myself for days whether to buy the item or not. There are occasions, however, where I instantly grab the item that I like but good thing this only applies to very affordable stuff. There are times thought that I still think that my husband and I are spending more that what we should spend, especially on perishable items that usually end up in the trash bin after a few days.

How To Turn Your Addiction Into A Successful Investment

062-guess-diamond-g-advert.jpg My 22 year-old cousin loves the American apparel Guess more than anything else. If she’s gonna wear anything, it better be Guess. When she won P82 million in the lotto in April 2004, she started splurging right and left. She had a nice house built in this posh village in Iloilo, bought several cars, several pieces of land, overpriced jewelry and yes, clothes, shoes, and purses! Since there are no haute couture stores in Iloilo, the most expensive brand that she could adorn herself with is Guess. The lone Guess branch at SM Iloilo became her everyday shopping destination and spending P10,000 - P20,000 at least per visit. She was caught up in this frivolous life of the young and loaded. She was spending as if money will last forever.

Until one day, we just heard that she sold some parcels of land that she bought and was renting out her house to Koreans. Not only that, she also sold her two cars and started taking a cab to the city. She also lost her jewelry to pawnshops and found herself borrowing money from neighbors. All these happened in a little more than a year since she won the lottery. Those who know her couldn’t help but wonder how she could spend that much money in a short period of time. She was still addicted to Guess, though. She would ransack the store every week for new finds. Nevermind if she couldn’t pay her loan from her neighbors. Then, she finally sold her house to a Filipino nurse from the States for only 7 million, which is lower than the original cost of building the house. When she got the payment for the house, she went straight to Guess to celebrate.

$6000 Per Month Secret

Last night, I got the chance to talk to a Fililipino from Baguio who is earning at least $6000 per month from the Internet. I’ve seen him around before and was quite impressed with his transactions with other netpreneurs, the depth of his online knowledge, and the load of information that he has in his virtual library. What prompted me to talk to him was the report he was selling. It turns out to be a report on how exactly he made $6,000 online every month. He was selling it for $35 per copy. That’s not exactly cheap so people were asking if he’s for real and asked him for proof of earnings. He showed snapshots of his Xoom account:
